The first step in making sure you are still taking care of yourself and getting in some exercise is to plan ahead! At the start of my week or on Sunday nights, I look at my calendar and see what the week has in store. Then I go through each day and see where I will have time for a workout, what I plan on doing and then I block off that time for myself or see how I can get the whole family involved. Preparation is absolutely key because otherwise the day can get away from you and pretty soon you realize itâs time for dinner and you still havenât gone on your run.Â
